I made these in January for a good friend's baby boy. When he was born I gave her a ribbon blanket & block with the same fabrics. I had intended to make a quilt as well, but kept putting it off. I received a new sewing machine for Christmas which motivated me to finish some projects. (Fabric by Jenn Ski)
This quilt was for my brand new niece. She just arrived this week, but the shower was in February so I made it then. This was a quilt I had wanted to make ever since my oldest was a baby-it was fun to finally do it.
I really loved how the last one turned out (the one for my niece) so we made another. This time it was for my daughter's former YW president. We finished it early which turned out to be perfect because the baby came early too! I also made a matching ribbon blanket and some burp cloths lined with matching fabric. I didn't think to take pictures of those...too bad for me. This one I made in April.
