and boy was it a battle! I liked working with these directional fabrics a lot better than last month, but the set-in seams were awful! Well, I know how to do them now. I still don't think I like them though.
The battle this month struck me as yet another one where so many people died. Looking at history from my stand point it seems like it would be easy to say there were so many mistakes and so many lives that could have been saved. I imagine this was a very hard time to be a wife/mother/sister. Families lost so many men.
the blocks certainly turned out beautifully! civil war repro fabrics arent' my favorites, but I love how you've put them together here.
