Civil War Tribute-Block of the Month

August ~ Gettysburg

I don't think the colors show up as well on the computer, but they are very pretty.  Lots of reds and pinks.  I kind of wondered if that was on purpose or just a coincidence with this month's block being the Battle of Gettysburg.

I even got all the directional prints going the same way.   :)

To put this battle in perspective, I told my kids that the South suffered casualties in excess of the population of our town.  That is a lot of people!

I can't believe I've stayed caught up with the blocks so far (excuse me while I go knock on some wood).
